The Terms of Reference for the RFID SIG are:
• Research material from Australia and Internationally on RFID activities in healthcare
• Co-ordinate and compile information on RFID topics (including case studies), and disseminate to members
• Identify research and development activities that would benefit members, and undertake such activities wherever practical
• Develop standards (for business processes using RFID) as directed by the SIG
• Organise events (eg Seminars) for benefit of members
• Compile and maintain list of vendors and other service providers for RFID, with basic information about their products/services
